Prototype Chair
Rough cut with a CNC machine and hand carved using wood sculpting tools, this chair showcases how computer fabrication can still be one of a kind.
The chair is built of 3/4” Plywood which was laminated in a vacuum bag assembly to create a perfect bond between layers.
The Trussing pattern of each layer allowed the chair to decrease drastically in weight while overlapping in strategic points to have dowels increase assembly time.
