Protest Takeover
An Options Studio project explored the use of protest to obtain a building for student housing. The Building located at 1500 Bronson, has been vacant for years, and with government workers resisting the return to work, may never be needed as an office tower again.
This project explored the possibility to use protest as a form of occupation of the vacant property, ideally allowing the students to negotiate with the government about reusing the building for suitable and affordable student housing.
